Emergency Response

Weavertown Environmental Group’s (WEG) emergency response line is manned with a live Weavertown employee 24-hours per day, 365 days per year.

WEG has responded to thousands of emergencies at steel mills, chemical plants, mining facilities, public utilities, river terminals, well sites, railroads and interstates.

Weavertown offers a total emergency response service including complete remediation cleanup, load transfers and uprighting of tankers with the most modern equipment available. WEG employees, including our towing and recovery personnel, are 40-hour HAZWOPER-trained to handle any type of chemical or petroleum release. All drivers and operators have required HAZ-MAT endorsements on their drivers licenses.

Complimenting WEG’s emergency response personnel, our professional engineers, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists provide “round-the-clock” regulatory compliance assistance, subsurface soil and groundwater investigation.

WEG is a recognized Chemical Manufacturers Association spill response contractor.

With one of the largest inventories of emergency response equipment in the Mid-Atlantic region, WEG’s certified HAZ-MAT teams can mobilize to ensure maximum safety to people and the environment.
