Payroll Specialist

DESCRIPTION:

 

Weavertown is currently seeking a payroll specialist for our accounting department. Position will report to our Carnegie office. This is a full time position with a full benefits offering, PTO, and room for growth within our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review time sheets entered into the accounting system
  • Import electronic time sheets into the accounting system
  • Process bi-weekly paychecks
  • Communicate with employees regarding their paychecks
  • Process deductions and garnishments
  • Provide weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annual reports
  • Calculate monthly tax and payroll accruals
  • Perform various other accounting tasks
  • Calculate and process quarterly payroll tax returns
  • Processes new hires, taxes, employee changes, terminations
  • Works closely with Human Resources department staff to ensure the integrity of payroll data related to new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, leaves of absences and transfers.
  • Reconcile payroll accrual sub ledgers to general ledger accounts
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies
  • Process employee expense reports

Requirements:

  • Previous Job Costing Payroll with contractor or construction experience preferred.
  • Prior in-house payroll experience
  • Some knowledge of prevailing wage
  • Independent and confidential work
  • Strong computer skills
  • Microsoft Office, specifically knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communications skills

Billing Specialist

DESCRIPTION:

 

Weavertown is looking to add a billing specialist to our accounting team here in our Carnegie office. This position will be responsible for the proper building of client invoices on a time plus material basis.

 

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities·

  • Upload time and cost data adjustments to client and project records.
  • Produce and distribute invoices to project managers.
  • Process billing instructions and prepare final invoices for clients, including authorized transfers and write-offs.
  • Work closely with account managers to provide client with accurate and timely information.
  • Generate reports/spreadsheets for project managers related to billing and account activity.
  • Provide follow up to project managers and/ or clients regarding aged accounts receivable.
  • Research and answer questions directed to the group’s shared inbox.
  • Validate cash application entries; research discrepancies; provide accounting strings when requested.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Asset Management and Accounting departments as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • The successful candidate will have minimum two years of service industry billing experience.

Recruiting Coordinator

Weavertown is in need of a Recruiting Coordinator to join the HR team to assist in the search for the best possible candidates for our company. Under moderate supervision, the Recruiting Coordinator assists the recruitment team with various tasks within the full life-cycle recruitment process. The coordinator will assist the recruitment team in meeting hiring deadlines.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supports Recruiting in daily transactional tasks to ensure a positive, efficient, experience for prospective candidates.
  • Audits candidate files to ensure required records are completed and log in the appropriate user system
  • Enters and tracks data into appropriate user system(s) and runs standard reports from those systems.
  • Coordinates requisitions and approvals.
  • Manages confidential pre-employment activities to include application and interview form completion, offers of employment, drug testing, background checks, security clearance validation, reference checks, new hire packets and ensures the information meets established employment requirements.
  • Schedules candidates for telephone or face-to face interviews and orientations.
  • Support recruiting event logistics for job fairs, open houses, invitation only interview days, etc.
  • Administer assessment and complete electronic pre-screening of candidates to support recruiting efforts.

We are currently searching for top notch sales and business development professional in the area to help grow our operation and expand business. This position will consist of several weeks of training at our facility in the Pittsburgh Metro area. Upon completion of training our Philadelphia sales professional will be responsible for the development of new business in the Eastern PA, NY, & NJ area.

 

Responsibilities:

 

This field-based sales position will be primarily responsible for growing Heavy Industrial Cleaning and Remediation sales by supporting and developing new and existing industrial customers located within the territory. Primary markets include Energy (Oil & Gas), Petro-Chemical, Industrial Manufacturing, Power Plants, Refineries, and Utility Companies.

 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and capable of a strategic/tactical focus on aggressively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities across the target markets. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to all account management activities to drive industrial and remediation sales within this geography. Performance will be measured on meeting several sales targets, tied to profitability and physical growth of both direct and indirect sales in the assigned geography.

 

Principle Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for solicitation, management, and expansion of company’s sales in designated geographic territory.
  • Supports and initiates business development and growth activities with prospective and existing accounts.
  • Practices “Professional Selling” techniques in order to develop strong relationships with existing end-user customers to penetrate accounts and leverage full sales potential.
  • Planning and executing calls within the system.
  • Entering and following up on leads in a timely and professional manner.

Heavy Wrecker Tow Operator

This position will include but not limited to:

Upon completion of training our Philadelphia Environmental Field Technicians will be working a mix of local and regional jobs across Pennsylvania and the tristate area.

 

This position will include, but not limited to:

  • -Holding tank cleanings using pressure washers, media blasters, and vacuum hoses
  • -Confined space work with the use of full face respirators, and SCBA
  • -Contaminated soil remediation with the use of hand tools and power equipment
  • -Assisting with on loading and off loading of solid and liquid materials
  • -Affixing and running hoses from storage tanks to Vacuum pumps onboard trucks
  • -Work in the tristate area to include some overnight travel
  • -Emergency response to spills and accidents that includes on and off regular business hours

 

Requirements of this position:

This position will consist of 6-8 weeks of training at our facility in the Pittsburgh Metro area. Upon completion of training our Philadelphia CDL Operators will be working a mix of local and regional runs along with driving loads back to our Pittsburgh facility.

 

This position will include, but not limited to:

  • -Vac Truck Operations
  • -Roll Off Truck Operations
  • -Water Truck Operations
  • -Assisting with on loading and off loading of solid and liquid materials
