Field Supervisor

DESCRIPTION:

Weavertown Environmental group is a Pittsburgh based Environmental and Industrial Cleaning and Remediation  company . We are currently searching for skilled and experienced Environmental Field Supervisor in the area to manage a crew of field workers in our environmental field services division for the Bradford Pennsylvania area.

 

This position will include, but not limited to:

  • Working alongside and managing holding tank cleaning operations using pressure washers, media blasters, and vacuum hoses
  • Confined space work with the use of full face respirators, and SCBA
  • Contaminated soil remediation with the use of hand tools and power equipment
  • Managing all aspects of daily field operations to include:
    • Processing all daily paperwork that accompanies each individual job in a timely fashion
    • Managing field personnel in working conditions to uphold the highest standard of safety
    • Assembling and managing a crew of field works to respond to client emergency situations
    • Maintain a constant state of readiness of personnel, equipment, and materials in order to meet and exceed the needs of our clients
  • Affixing and running hoses from storage tanks to Vacuum pumps onboard trucks
  • Managing an emergency response team in a 24/7 atmosphere to tend to all client needs

 

 

Requirements of this position:

  • Proven record of safe and successful personnel management in the Environmental Industry
  • Ability to perform physical work that includes extended hours of standing, lifting, and confined space entry and rescue
  • 3-5 years of a proven safety record
  • Willingness to work required overtime and extended hours
  • Occasional overnight travel

Executive Assistant to C-Suite

DESCRIPTION:

The Executive Assistant (EA) provides specialized, complex administrative activities in support of the C-Suite (Senior Leadership). This position is responsible for working both independently and in close collaboration with members of the executive leadership team. This individual will support the CEO through writing, information coordination, and relationship management. The Executive Assistant fills a critical role, serving as the primary point of contact and working to ensure smooth operations of the executive’s office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

– Create, manage, and maintain a complex calendar, including a range of internal and external meetings in a highly dynamic environment, requiring frequent re-prioritization and shifting appointments.

– Supporting senior leadership in their roles of managing companies in multiple locations in the Pennsylvania and Illinois areas.

– Provide direct staff support and coordination at internal and external meetings, speaking engagements, and public events, event organizers, and internal and external partners.

– Ensure that the CEO & Senior Leadership receives necessary background information in a timely and coordinated fashion and that all activities are effectively and efficiently staffed.

– Manage internal and external events hosted by Senior Leadership, including managing event logistics and details.

– Facilitate arrangements for extensive travel and complex logistics for both external and internal meetings, speaking engagements and conferences. Requires detailed tracking and monitoring of executive travel and processing related expense reports.

– Maintain an organized system for tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks and projects. Activity requires extensive collaboration with multiple parties, and handling of sensitive and confidential information.

– Facilitate smooth and effective communication as first point of contact into the C-Suite.

– This role is responsible for high quality interactions and clear and consistent communications with internal employees and external partners

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

– Minimum 5 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives

– Exceptional skills in the areas of judgment, organizational skills, diplomacy, discretion, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

– Must be flexible, highly organized and have a proven ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. This will require collaborating with team members and working independently.

– Ability to provide expertise and coaching to internal staff on best practices and requirements when working with CEO & Senior Leadership.

– Strong analytical skills needed to look across a variety of complex issues and ability to drive them forward.

– Ability to reach out and build collegial relationships within the organization to promote cordial and productive interdepartmental connections for the team.

– Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

– Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and corporate functions. (Overnight Travel)

– Ability to plan and book travel arrangements for multiple executives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent work experience

5 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives

Heavy Wrecker Tow Operator

Description:

This position will include but not limited to:

All aspects of day to day operations including dispatching to clients site, hook up and towing of vehicles, processing of paperwork and invoices.

Willingness to work extended hours and potential travel

Perform towing and road service calls

Class A CDL (Tanker & Hazmat)

Minimum of one year Heavy Towing experience

Proven record of safe driving history

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Environmental Technician

Description:

Perform various duties related to Environmental and Industrial Cleaning and other Company services including Emergency Response in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required.

Significant Dimensions of Position
-Ability to apply commonsense understanding and completion of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
-Courtesy and tact is required in dealing with clients.

Experience, Education, Training required for this position:
-Must meet qualifications for wearing respiratory equipment

Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Road  Service

Description:
Fleet maintenance and Heavy Diesel experience required (2 years) Duties will include preventative maintenance checks and repairs on brakes, rotors, electrical systems, air brake systems, hydraulics, engine and drivetrain, and tire mounting. This position will consist of 6-8 weeks of training at our facility in the Pittsburgh Metro area. Upon completion of training our Philadelphia Environmental Field Technicians will be working a mix of local and regional jobs across Pennsylvania and the tristate area.

 

This position will include, but not limited to:

We are currently searching for skilled and experienced CDL Driver/Operators in the area to help grow our operation and expand business. This position will consist of 6-8 weeks of training at our facility in the Pittsburgh Metro area. Upon completion of training our Philadelphia CDL Operators will be working a mix of local and regional runs along with driving loads back to our Pittsburgh facility.

 

This position will include, but not limited to:

  • -Vac Truck Operations
  • -Roll Off Truck Operations
  • -Water Truck Operations
  • -Assisting with on loading and off loading of solid and liquid materials
  • -Affixing and running hoses from storage tanks to Vacuum pumps onboard trucks
  • -Tri-State driving with occasional overnight travel
  • -Emergency response to spills and accidents

 

Requirements of this position:

  • -Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement
  • -Clean CDL driving safety record
  • -3-5 years of Class A CDL driving experience
  • -Willingness to work required overtime and extended hours
