WEG was founded in 1981 by Donald E. Fuchs as a company specializing in the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Mr. Fuchs had a vision to build a full-service company to manage his client's most difficult environmental problems in addition to the transportation of wastes.

WEG quickly gained a notable reputation for successfully executing the most challenging environmental work and providing service 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. To fully meet client requirements, WEG has uniquely developed a broad range of capabilities internally, eliminating the need for outsourcing or subcontracting.

Today, over 20 years later, WEG is a full-service environmental company with our new Corporate Centre in Carnegie, PA with seven additional locations around the region.
